• Immigrant Nation
    Feb 13 2026

Turtle Island was "christened" America a section of 13 colonies, by a class of immigrants; some 250 years ago. Today, that small 13 colonies has colonized across 50 states and a number of territories, collecting native - indigenous Americans along the way. Today in 2026 we have one of the worlds most diverse populations, Africans, South Americans, Asian American Pacific Islander, and of course Europeans. In those 250 fifty years, there has never been a true inclusion of the different communites and cultures.

America has had many mass exodus of migrants throughouts it's history, due to the inhuman treatment of unAmerican cuz they don't look it. That disdain has permeated legislation and poisoned communites throughout our illustrious history. Native from their homelands -to- their deaths, Blacks from the south to escape their death,... We have forgotten the term immigrant applies to a human being & Immigrants are not criminals!

An immigrant is someone looking to escape the worst of life, terror, trauma, death. They are the embodiement of everything they have left, their language - culture - faith - family they are alone in a completely new world hoping, praying, moving to thrive. Similar to a flower finding it's self in foriegn soil surrounded by trees, plants, and even insects it doesn't recognize. It has no intention of invading, just spreading it's roots, and joining the rest of the diverse colors of the forest of life.

We are all moving through life like those trees in the forest to connect the roots we share, and build a stronger connection with humanity.

  • Resolute Accomplishments
    Feb 6 2026

Happily Resolute to Change New Years has come and gone,
resolutions have been readied-set-engaged! Some have been a
small struggle to keep the vision dreamt, of hers an accelerated
form of personal change. We are becomin, better-Better-people.
I've never been a fan of "resolutions", but with the world afire, we could all use some reflection, understanding, and a pathway
to personal harmony. So whether accomplishments, goals,
dreams, or resolutions. Change is a constant, however hard we
willfully ignore it, or overzealously engage with.
But why do we wait for certain dates to execute growth? Why do
we pretend things can change, when ain't nothin' change; ask
Tyrone. Most importantly when do we begin to embrace the
change, and what if we slip up? Free Thought Revolution has the
answers for you, but three words before jumping in: You got this.

  • Transcending the Language of Kings
    Dec 25 2025

Dear Friends, Family, Revolutionaries, and the Uninitiated,

Please listen while we sit with the CEO and Publisher and, Founder and Editor of “Black SD Magazine'' to discuss the Transcendence of Language Beyond the Threshold and Limits of Royalty. With a mission to display Black excellence, luxury, & lifestyle, from the historical reference and anecdotes of what it means to be tied to the title of Monarchy, to the real life attributes of what it means to be royalty, and the active manifestations in how they affect real life. The implicit meaning behind what it means to say, hear, or apply such labels to others; intimately known or not. Why do we fight for a title that subjugates and oppresses those beneath them?

The intention behind placing these titles upon one another is for an investment, a tokenship of seeing and holding up the value in another. Empty titles are as abundant as hollow prayers. Without investing in the interpersonal value and depth of one another these titles are meaningless. Taught values from the heart of mother, in a home that welcomed self; we learn the truth in a mission and purpose in life are core to who we are; and the majesty of life.

We must ensure we are good with the basic philosophies and principles that root us in life. We need to cherish our true vibrating harmony, and express that in our life.

Taking the time to have not just true reflection of self, but also being open to the conflict of others' affairs in life; especially if it means we must evolve beyond the self centered nature of self.

Sold and fed a bill of health that is meant to complete us, instead perverts the righteous aspirations we carry. Moving on from “good” & “bad” and taking the education from lived experiences. Focusing on building tribes and communities, utilizing privilege to help others learn to be unapologetically free.

A walk through the offices of Black SD Magazine celebrating SD Melanin's Black Excellence, We had a dream that we would hold a conversation allowing us and others to learn how to transcend the barriers of titles and language. Taking power in voice and speaking into existence our identity in individual excellence, without bondage of faux labels.

The courage you’ve given us cannot be stolen, Pride is undefinable.

  • The Fire We Speak & the People it Burns
    Dec 5 2025

The words we use impact more than just those that are around to hear it. We leave seeds of vitriol, hope, love, disdain, and more with the language we use to address issues and people. The conversation we need to have and have been waiting for a piece of humanity during those discussions is disappearing. Instead we revel in destroying our opponents and any notion of respect that could be had in a civil discourse. But why would we entertain such discourse? We get more clicks, likes, and fan attention with hostile targeting of our language.

The pejorative nature of "online gangsterism" has spread dangerously from the safe corners of online chats and forums to street corners and college campuses across America; without contextual conjecture. Language is used to insult, demonize and target those deemed as lesser than, and it is working. Both the targets of the language and the users of the language have become targets of violence, targets of death.

What power lies in words we have allowed to become weapons of personal and cultural warfare. The pen's mighty power has become the first recourse in a war that will leave us all maimed. How do we get back to the sweet nature of community conjecture and build through respectful civil conversation? When do we realize the fyre we speak is burning the world down. The words we use and the power they have, let us return to humanity!

P.S. give us grace as we maneuver and get these things rolling back in sync.

  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Hittin us at Home
    Nov 19 2025

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are some of the foremost held beliefs by American society, except when it isn't. The whole of our existence in lyfe is an attempt to find something new. To taste the fresh juice and truly enjoy the fruits of this new experience. We start as nubile wide eyed open sols, that become old crotchety and stuck in our ways. Ahhh, in our ways, even as unmalleable fleshy beings we still embody diversity seeking creatures.

The food we eat, the friends we keep close, the events we choose, music we listen to, movies we watch, on and on and on; our lives never cease to be amazing colorful diarramas. We partition DEI into a frenzy of: fair v unfair, qualified v unqualified, division v division, because it's easy and alleviates the pain. DEI has been the boon to allow the various groups of blackuns a reversal of fortune and a chance, however miniscule; at real pieces of the "American Dream".

Black is a scarlet cloak with the tendrils of all its persons forgotten. Black when defined includes: Black folk (duh), women, native indigenous, native hispanic, oh
    and uh-
poor whites. DEI is an initiative to help all of America's relegated second class citizens; all us black bastards.

  • Who We Are, Down to the Nitty Gritty
    Nov 5 2025

    Who We Are

    Who we are, is a complicated description when we use the labels, check-marks, and boxes given to us. But what is given is never the only choice or option;
often there's more to the whole of it. Who we are is how we move, the mistakes we've made and especially those we learned from. Who we are, is often
confused with what we are or what we do. Who We Are is our soul and the energy we radiate to the world around us, and the intricate pieces that make up our lived experience, and how that trabslates to the world and those around us. The very notion of us as an identity is a dynamic oxymoron, as we are forever changing. All the same we ask; Who are you?

  • Privilege: Real Discus-shhh Only
    Apr 24 2022

Freethought Friends - Family, and sols new to the community, it is a privilege to share these messages of humanity with you; from the voices of the people. Privilege is not an accord or a topic of discussion that floats through mainstream society. Instead it is a label, moniker, and divisive acronym that dispels the notion of humanity amongst civilized sols. The largest barrier is the belief having privilege is akin to a curse or scarlet letter, however far from reality it is.

The truth of privilege lives in the systems we’ve created that place value upon individuals based on a birthright. The different levels of privilege span beyond just the mere complexion one uses to shade their soul. We were blessed with the privilege to discuss these blatant and nuanced imbalances.

We were able to briefly get Professor Amber Colbert to break away from teaching the next generation of socially conscious students at Palomar College, in order to give us a clear picture on the social constructs within society that impoverish so many individuals with a lack of access, opportunity, and/or resources to access life’s essentials i.e. nutritious food, healthy water, safe home, access to education - mental & physical health. For many individuals the simplest form is- to simply exist!

Join us as we carve up the systems of inequity, get real raw about the privilege of a “Black Ass” Oscars slap, the derision behind “privilege” as an idea, and the essence of humanity in spite of a lack of it.

Thanks for taking the time to grow your and our communities by listening to the hearts of our guests. Share, rate, review you know, all the digs they say we should be asking for. In truth, we only grow if you nurture the community. Thoughts are Free, Revolution Rakes Action; Be Revolutionary.

Thank you to prmtv sls @prmtvsls for the slow long as intro, yeah we cut that short; Bless. Dusty A Jones @tigersdenworks, very few sols can traverse the lines of division with words alike you; jah love. Nick Muser - Anthony Acosta - Joseph Vigil - Dusty A. Jones; the accompanying music to raise the words, spirit, and energy of the conversation sent us on a blessed path; shukran.

Professor Amber Colbert we cannot adequately express the blessing it was to sit and hold the conversation(s) we have had in the pursuit of equitable humanity for all sols, and the laughter at slapping a… it would be our pleasure to have you back to help us understand the rest of sociology to build more bridges of humanity as salaam a lakim.

  • Trauma-Rama and Mental Health: Pygmies Don't Self-Deprecate
    Apr 10 2022

Freethought Fam - Friends - Family, and new coming community, it is a privilege to share these messages of humanity with you; from the voices of the people.

With the help of Dr. Feeby and Dr Mark, we are able to delve into a much maligned and improperly humanized conversation about: Mental Health, Trauma, and the unique independent/interdependent relationship between them. They hold the key in the creation of who we are as individuals, and the path we walk in life. As sols attempting to thrive in a world that sees us less as humans, and more as tools to economic enrichment, our health is parlayed as an extravagance; and if the scars don’t show it doesn’t exist- walk it off.

We wanted to give a heartfelt understanding of the ways we are so often held captive, by a life of unresolved trauma. The effects of trauma, and most significantly what is trauma relative to another’s. What impact does trauma have in the development of a neural divergent sol, and what does it mean to be labeled as abnormally functioning. How do we gain a better foot in our own path to “normalcy”, while still being cognizant of others.

Suicide is a often a taboo topic, but a real life event that has touched most lives. With the intimate and vulnerable share of personal testimony we get to understand what the thoughts are behind such a final act of submission.

But of course we end with ways to enrich and liven your own life. This is a topic we all need, but far too many never get the chance to hear.

2 Pieces & a Biscuit: Thank you for listening, sharing, rating, and the rest of tha digs; be blessed!. It is a privilege to share with you these messages to #Humanizeus. #ShowyourHumanity and take the time to see people. #BeRevolutionary it makes ya solglow.

Appreciation Appreciation: Thank you to Aryanna (@v0dka.aunt)for the art and delivery of this pod in 1000 words. Dr. Feeby and Dr. Mark for the continued couch time- off the clock. We, Freethought, and the world are better for the insightful heartfelt guidance you both share. So.jirn (@so.jirn)creating songs that are so impactful they evoke tears is a talent of few, we are proud to see your star continually ascending and being able to share it with others.
