This episode is all about encouragement because if you’ve been riding along with me, chances are you’ve been doing your own growing, healing, and figuring-it-out too. Whether this season challenged you, comforted you, or called you out (in love, of course), I hope you’re walking away better than you started.

  • Friend, Stop Trying to Fit In When God Has Set You Apart!
    Mar 17 2026

In this episode of Friend, Do Better!, we’re talking about the tension between wanting to belong and honoring the fact that God has set you apart for a purpose. So many of us find ourselves trying to squeeze into environments, friendships, and expectations that were never meant for us, and it slowly pulls us away from the focus God is calling us to.

This episode explores what it really means to be set apart and consecrated, why God sometimes allows holy disruptions in our lives, and how those disruptions can lead to a holy resolve to refocus on His Word. We also dive into the importance of guarding your environment and relationships, remembering the warning in 1 Corinthians 15:33 “Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good morals.”

If you’ve been feeling the pressure to blend in, shrink your convictions, or dim your light just to belong, this episode is your reminder that you were never created to fit every space.

Friend, maybe the reason you don’t fit in… is because God set you apart.
