  • Homeschool Myths: What People Get Wrong About Homeschoolers
    Jul 1 2026

This week, my daughter is back behind the microphone and joined by a friend for an honest conversation about the misconceptions people often have about homeschooled students.

From the belief that homeschoolers don't socialize to assumptions about academics, friendships, and everyday life, they share their personal experiences and discuss what homeschooling is really like from a student's perspective.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to let these young voices be heard on From Here to There. Their conversation is a reminder that many of our opinions are formed by stereotypes rather than personal experience, and that taking the time to listen can change the way we see others.

Whether you're a homeschooling family, considering homeschooling, or simply curious about what it's really like, this episode offers a thoughtful and authentic look through the eyes of two homeschool students.

From where we are to where we want to be, understanding often begins with a conversation. 🎙️💚

  • The Power of Your Testimony- Guest Host!
    Jun 24 2026

This week’s episode is a little different and very special. As many of you know, I’m currently spending a lot of time preparing for an important licensing exam, and rather than skip a week, I invited my 13-year-old daughter to step behind the microphone and share a message that has been on her heart.

In this short episode, she talks about the importance of sharing your testimony and how our personal stories can encourage, strengthen, and inspire others who may be facing similar struggles. No matter your age, God can use your voice and your experiences to make a difference in someone else's life.

I’m incredibly proud of her willingness to step outside her comfort zone and contribute to the conversation. My hope is that her perspective reminds us all that a testimony doesn't have to be dramatic to be powerful—it simply has to be shared.

Thank you for giving her a listen and for continuing to support From Here to There while I focus on preparing for the next chapter of my career journey.
