  • Holding The Tension Between Outrage & Grace w/ Midge Noble
    Feb 16 2026

Midge Noble is an online resiliency coach, podcaster, author, and speaker. She has published two children’s books, SHEBA, Home Is Where Your Heart Is, and ICE CUBE AWARD, Learning To Be Cool Under Pressure. Her memoir, Gay with God, Reclaiming My Faith, Honoring My Story has just been released! Her podcast, GAY with GOD! can be found wherever you stream your podcasts.

Midge specializes in helping her LGBTQIA+ community in their coming out and faith journeys. Her main focus is to stop gay suicides by educating people wounded by the church that they can be in relationship with the God of their understanding and that God does and has always loved us, just as we are created to be. To that end, Midge is very involved in her parish, The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Midge and her wife, along with their fur babies, enjoy spending time at their mountain cabin, hiking, and being with their friends.

On today's episode I explore how the outrage in our society right now is keeping us in an angry and toxic state. I explore how we can speak out, march, and feel the anger at late breaking news without getting stuck in that rage. I explore how grace and the philosophy of peaceful monks can keep us connected to the God of our understanding.

  • Meet Greg Bearden!
    Feb 9 2026

A native of Upstate SC, Greg received an undergraduate degree in English from Central Wesleyan College and a master's degree in school counseling from Clemson University. A retiree with nearly thirty years’ experience in public education, he served as an English teacher, a school counselor, and a supervisor for student teachers. He was honored twice as a teacher of the year district finalist and was selected as the state’s school counselor HEART Award recipient. In his community, he is a member of Fort Hill Presbyterian Church and the Oconee County Foster Care Review Board. In addition to being a first-time author, his entrepreneurial spirit is fueled by his position as Co-director of GC Pageants, LLC, and he has had extensive involvement directing and judging in the Miss America, Miss USA, and Miss High School America systems. For fun, he enjoys background acting with Tyler Perry Productions, Amazon TV, ReelShort, and even Divorce Court – thankfully, not as a plaintiff or defendant!
