  • ONE GENERATION AWAY FROM NOT KNOWING WHO JESUS IS!?- EPI 31
    Dec 5 2025

In today’s episode of Get Canceled, we’re bringing the Thanksgiving vibes—laughter, nostalgia, real talk, and a reminder of what truly matters.

We kick things off celebrating something we’re deeply thankful for: YOU. The listeners, the reviewers, the downloaders, and the folks sharing the show. Your support continues to blow us away, and we appreciate every five-star review—(and if you leave a one-star… well, you already know.

From there, we roll into a heartfelt Thanksgiving reflection. Brad shares a powerful story about how his once-massive family gatherings—120+ people deep—have dwindled down over the years to tiny “micro Thanksgivings.” It sparks a bigger conversation about legacy, changing generations, and how quickly traditions, families, and even faith can fade if they’re not intentionally carried forward.

We draw a parallel to the phrase:

“We’re always just one generation away from people not knowing who Jesus is.”

And through this lens, we look at how family structures evolve, how time transforms what used to be, and why connection and intentionality matter more now than ever.

Plus—don’t miss the shoutout to our recent episode with NASA’s Gabe Sherman, who dropped some absolute gold. If you haven’t listened to that one, run—don’t walk.

This episode is equal parts hilarious, nostalgic, challenging, and warm—just like Thanksgiving should be.

  • SOOO WE DID LAND ON THE MOON?!?! - EPI 30
    Nov 24 2025

In this episode, Bryan, Kellen and Thad with special guest Gabe Sherman, former assistant to the NASA director, dive into the enduring controversy surrounding the moon landing and what it reveals about our broader cultural tensions. The conversation unpacks how social media amplifies misinformation, shaping what people believe—and why. Brayn and the hosts explore how personal experience powerfully influences faith and conviction, drawing parallels between public skepticism and private spiritual doubt.

They also discuss the renewed global space race and its implications for national pride, using it as a springboard to reflect on leadership, integrity, and the importance of faith-rooted guidance. Throughout the episode, the speakers emphasize that faith is not merely an individual pursuit but a communal journey that flourishes through honest dialogue, transparency, and accountability.

The discussion highlights the value of confronting personal challenges head-on, encouraging listeners—especially men—not to shy away from vulnerability for fear of appearing weak. The episode closes with a reminder that ministry is not limited to formal roles; it is an expectation and calling for everyone seeking to live out their faith with authenticity.

  • JUMPING OFF A BRIDGE TO UPON A ROOF TOP!? EPI 29
    Nov 17 2025

In Episode 29, Bryan, Kellen and Thad are honored to welcome Pastor Paul Daugherty, Lead Pastor of Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Paul’s transparency, heart for people, and powerful faith set the stage for a deeply meaningful conversation.

Paul shares how his upbringing in a ministry family shaped his understanding of leadership and purpose. He opens up about the moment he realized he would eventually step into pastoral leadership, following in the footsteps of his parents.

One of the most memorable stories Paul shares is about his looking out of a bridge one night thinking no one would miss him and things would be better without him to being on a roof top of the church years later being called to keep others from feeling that same way. Paul talks about how God can use even the messy, imperfect parts of our lives to bring about hope and healing. Emphasizing that leading isn’t about being the “face” of a ministry but about building a healthy team around you. He encourages emerging leaders to lean into authenticity, humility, and service.

Pastor Paul hopes for the next generation: to live boldly, lead humbly, and carry a legacy of faith and service.
