Hosted by Dr Michaelina Jakala, academic lead at the Centre for Peace and Security at Coventry University, each episode focuses on a different country; its history of peace and conflict, how the young people in that country have affected change and what we can learn from them. In this final episode of the first series, key academics from the Centre - and from the case studies that have featured in the series - gather together to reflect on the themes that have arisen across the previous five episodes, in which we discussed case studies from Bosnia, Colombia, Kurdistan, Iraq and Algeria.

The guests are Dr Jessica Northey from the Centre for Peace and Security at Coventry University, Sami Mehiaoui, a PhD student and a social entrepreneur in Algeria, Dr Ikram Berkani a researcher, artist and community development worker, and Djamel Mrah, CEO of Parler Algerien – an organisation that teaches and promotes the Algerian language and culture.
