Vanessa's career began at Ford Motor Company, where she spent seven years as a Test Driver, conducting rigorous road and laboratory tests on prototypes to evaluate gasoline reactivity and performance. Her expertise extended to conducting various emission, environmental, and chemical tests on both prototype and current vehicles, demonstrating her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Transitioning to Alcoa Fujikura, Vanessa continued to showcase her technical prowess by performing mechanical, chemical, and environmental testing on automotive components, including wire harnesses, relays, fuses, and power distribution boxes. Her role required precision and thoroughness, ensuring the reliability and safety of critical automotive systems.

At Trico, Vanessa's responsibilities evolved as she took on the construction of "bucks" (artificial car fronts) and tested windshield wipers to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Additionally, she provided invaluable managerial and technical support to the automotive engineering community, underscoring her versatility and leadership capabilities.

Throughout her career journey, Vanessa's progression from technician roles to engineering positions, sales management, and project management exemplifies her drive for continuous growth and excellence. Today, she holds a pivotal role as an Advisory Customer Success Manager and Architect at IBM, where her expertise and leadership are instrumental in driving customer success and shaping innovative solutions.
