Who thought that conditioning a young child to be terrified of anything white and fluffy could have any long lasting side effects? Well, pretty much anyone really if you think about it. That didn't stop someone from sciencing the hell out of it anyway. This as well as a few other "fun" behavioral experiments are what's on Dans mind this week. From an innocent conformity test to some not so innocent instances of making someone believe they are actually issuing out corporal punishment for wrong answers just because they were told to. Cause it's 1....2....3 strikes you're out at the movie theater. Wait. That's not how it goes. Right? Either way, we all know Dusty is the movie guy but he likes sports too. This week, he managed to find a way to talk about both. There have been countless movies made about sports but baseball in particular has found its way into cinemas countless times. Join the guys while they talk about as many of them as they can fit into one episode. From Major League to A League Of Their Own, they get through quite a few. It's a real home run of an episode. You might not be familiar with the term but trust me. You are definitely aware of this sub genre of rock. The term was originally coined from a radio station. As in, "We don't play anything BUT rock". This style of music includes some favorites such as Breaking Benjamin, Creed, Poison, 3 Days Grace and many, many more. It's been pretty cold around here lately and it got David doing some thinking. Could he survive out in the wilderness during the cold? Hell no! Then he got to thinking about some other people that couldn't make it either. Namely a pretty big chunk of The Donner Party. We're getting just a little dark with this one. Join the guys as they discuss some of the terrible luck that these people experienced leading up to their eventual date with history and cannibalism. The worst road trip any of the guys have ever been on doesn't hold a candle to this one. A cordyceps strain mutates and starts jumping to humans, taking over their bodies and turning them into savage creatures intent on spreading the infection at all costs. That already seems like a cool idea for a video game but then you go and add characters and a story inside this world that absolutely blows you away from start to finish. That my friends, is the recipe for an amazing game experience. That experience is what Dusty wants to talk about today. From both part 1 and 2 of the games and even into the HBO series, the guys will go over why they care so much about these characters and this story.
