About this listen

All stories begin with a sound.

Late one night, whilst scanning the dead space between radio stations, a faint signal appears- almost human, almost a melody.

At first it seems like interference. Atmospheric noise. Cold War leftovers drifting through the airwaves.

But the signal keeps returning... and so do memories. Memories of something that might not have happened years ago.

Always the same frequency. Always at the same time, and always just long enough for it to feel intentional.

In this series we'll follow the fragments left behind; notebooks, messages, interviews and the signal itself. We will look into the histories of all involved, to try and answer a question that becomes more troubling the deeper we look;-

Was there ever a transmission? Or simply was it just fragmented memories that were mis-remembered.?

  • Inside The Anechoic Chamber
    May 7 2026

An anechoic chamber is designed to absorb reflections and all sound. I wanted to hear myself clearly.

I didn’t expect this much of me to disappear. Dreams without images. A person trapped in an anechoic version of reality.

    Waking without relief.

    If no one hears you,

do you still mean what you say?

  • We've Got No Glue
    Apr 30 2026

I miss how easy it was before we tried.

Draft saved three times. Never sent.

    Glue fails under stress.

    So do metaphors

Love is supposed to connect things.

    This just highlights the cracks.

  • Tales From The Caspian Sea
    Apr 23 2026

These are the tales from the Caspian Sea

And If I follow the story far enough

    I might finally reach you

    But if I find you

    Are you

    what I need you

    to be?

So nothing ever ends the same

Every tale has a different ending
