Hello and welcome to the third episode of 'Good Vibrations'. Thank you so much for joining me on this exciting expedition through the swinging sixties.

On today's episode we are exploring the working class entertainers, the cultural aristocracy and its relationship with drugs. Plus, we will be asking, was LSD really that popular with the youth of the 60s. Were teenagers constantly high or is it another flower power myth? Along the way we will visit the V&A, talk to David Kynaston and hear interviews from a wide range of people old and new.

I hope you enjoy the episode!

My deepest thanks to David Kynaston.

Hello and welcome to the second episode of 'Good Vibrations'. Thank you so much for joining me on this exciting expedition through the swinging sixties.

On today's episode we are exploring the World Cup of 1966, England's famous victory and what it meant to a country in decline. Football is deeply embedded in working class culture, and this class consciousness of the game stretches back decades, but with England winning their first major trophy this year (2022), I will be asking - what went wrong? Along the way we will be joined by a very special guest, David Kynaston, who's book series 'Tales of a New Jerusalem' charts the post-war British journey, and turned 15 on the day England won the Jules Rimet trophy, so he knows his stuff!

My deepest thanks to David for allowing me to interview him.

During the first Coronavirus lockdown, FIFA livestreamed and subsequently uploaded the full 1966 World Cup Final. It can be found here.

Hello and welcome to the first ever episode of 'Good Vibrations'. Thank you so much for joining me on this exciting expedition through the swinging sixties.

On today's episode we are exploring the history of gay liberation, tracking the journey from the Wolfenden Report in 1957 to the Sexual Offences Act ten years later. We will learn all about the Homosexual Law Reform Society and the Gay Liberation Front from archival material based in the Bishopsgate Institute. The real voices of those who were there will guide us through the past and let us ask - have things really changed?

I hope you enjoy the episode!

My deepest thanks to Stuart Feather, Martin Kaufman and Dan Glass.
