About this listen
This docu-short film navigates through the injustices faced by Nisaiah Perry Sr. perpetuated by the Oakland police department & the Alameda County District Attorneys Office helmed under Nancy O'Malley.
Today's society as we know it is rampant with police misconduct & corruption. This film is another attempt to get the powers that be& the community to take notice and action on setting Mr. Perry free.
Produced by Nisaiah from Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, Ca. this is a raw take on the daily fight that he engaged in until he was set free.
We at FBNF are happy to inform the public that Mr. Perry was freed on July 7th 2025. This was a long 42 month journey and justice was not served although freedom was eventually found. We are still looking for completed justice here at Freed But Not Free.
Directed and produced by Elias Denny. Thanks for the painstaking efforts to place all the clips together and to go through the paperwork while I was down. You are forever my brother.
