This episode is the best example for why it is always good to have a plan B. Because not every time, everything goes according to plan. But if you are flexible, you can still have a great time and a good adventure. This is what happened to me when I went to Lake Superior to explore the Apostle Islands by kayak. Hiking the Narrows is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure as it is no ordinary hike. There is no trail, you hike through a river with all its obstacles through a narrow canyon and its wall closing in on you. There are three possibilities to hike it and I chose to hike it top to bottom all the way and camp overnight inside the canyon.
