    Feb 17 2026
    Episode Notes

One way we should start think about preparing ourselves for a future of challenge, complexity and disconnection is to start looking for and pursuing difficult things; find tension; create friction in ours lives.

Making things easier for ourselves all the time is infantilising us and emotionally de-maturing us.

Look for hard things and do them to develop your confidence, your sense of pride, purpose and capacity to endure difficulties - because there are many of them happening and coming.

We can all feel fragile from time to time and when we do we need to protect ourselves. But, in most instances stress isn't distressing, its eustressing. It can help helpful to us to aid our growth and learning.

Instead of being pulled apart by stress we can shift our attention to ask ourselves if we can instead be in harmony with it, so that we can extract the opportunities to grow, develop and better withstand the complexity of our environments, situations and experiences.

In this episode I explore some perspectives on stress and being anti-fragile; developing resilience to withstand the pressures of life so that we can flourish.
