About this listen

 Hands in For Care is a podcast for school nurses, caregivers, educators, and everyone else invested in caring for children with special health care needs. We adopt real-life scenarios shared by school nurses and others into a story about a student with special needs, her family, and a school nurse trying to improve her care. This story guides deep and insightful conversations with a series of special guests including school nurses, educators, and caregivers. On the show, we share valuable lessons on building empathy and trust to cultivate meaningful relationships with families and students. Listeners will take away key information and knowledge that will help school professionals and community members provide the best possible care for students with special health care needs.
