    Well, how's the form Lodz?

    C'mere!

After five years away, The Hardy Book returns with nine days of meticulously crafted chaos.
9 solid days of graft for your cult following pleasure!

Join Eddie as he dissects the disenchanted world of acting, the lure of the betting shop, and the "Geezerdom" found in both palaces and pubs. • Eddie Chatpod #13 - Revenge of the Yellow Ticket
    Mar 19 2026
    Story Lodz!?

Back at it again — and somewhere along the way I ditched Eddie and brought in Martin.

No explanation. Just the way it was going. This one’s been a journey. Took me about five moonz to put together, so you’re morally obligated to enjoy it.

We cover the real issues: getting hunted by parking enforcement, slowly ageing on life’s conveyor belt, and Bryan Johnson trying to live forever while the rest of us are just trying to make it through the week.

There’s Paddy’s Day chaos, life in Sweden (cold, windy, slightly suspicious), and a deep dive into the fashion industrial complex — because apparently that’s a thing now.

We hypothisise society in the event of an age-reversal serum… would you actually take it, or just mess it up again from the start?

Of course, petrol prices are up, the world’s on edge, somehow it’s all getting passed down to us anyway. Standard.

So grab a drink, ignore your responsibilities, and come along for some mildly unhinged, occasionally insightful, definitely unnecessary chat. Enjoy the ride.

    How's the form!?

Of course I'm going to cover yet another ME conflict. How could I not.

I cover clims on X, shifting opions as time passes, Guinness zero, Hammarby football and a load of more unhinged takes that'll blow your socks off!

  • Eddie Chat Pod #11 - Coming up on Chat GPT's
    Feb 24 2026
Are we gearing up for another Boom Boom in the Middle East? Sick of arguing with Tossers on X?
Are they Bots, or daft misinformed clims?

I asked Chat GPT to provide 10 talking points for the craic. Some questions I didnt quite get, but that didnt stop me for trying to answer them.
Why do people lord over actors? They're people who are paid to pretend to be other people for a living.

With a run down of the top ten job for psycopaths and the least likely careers, if you want to avoid them.

    Feb 16 2026
Been away in the motherland. TSranded, waiting too long for the new passport to arrive, no car, no laptop and no idea when I was able to leave. As usual, it's off the dome.

I discuss two faced tossers in the work place, Irlend's lack of public transportation in rural areas and the sate of the world, plus other topics that will entertain you Ma's.

Finished is better than perfect... Thats a motto in order to get things done!

Back from a long break, life gets in the way. Especially when you have the attention span of a banana fly at a fruit salad covention. This week I discuss Swedens hive mind - and how lutheran book keeping lead to insane levels of bureaucracy (a word I still can't spell let alone abide by)

Is it better to live in the country where it's cheaper and you can attain self sufficiency, or live the increasingly expensive city life. Touching on digitalization of everything and questioning widespread debt and and inflation. Soon we'll be buying hash with bars of Kerry Gold.

Update: I accidentally uploaded the raw file - So I've replaced it with the updated edit... Some words have been clipped, as I tried editing out the chaff on Adobe podcast... Sure what can you do man!?

    Welcome back, dear listeners!

This week’s episode is a jalapeño popper of a show — simmered over two and a half weeks, a true procrastinator’s Matterhorn. But hey, I made it in the end.

Expect the usual mix of "Bitter" rants, reflections on the inevitability of ageing, and some unapologetic crap TV takes.

    We’ll also dive into:
    • A layman’s guide to the smiting of Sodom and Gomorrah
    • That time I met Basshunter at a comedy club in Stockholm
    • Irish talent managers versus hungry, drunk exes
    • And why “worldwide woke” might be over — with its former disciples reinventing themselves as edge-lords, hoping to cash in on Newton’s third law before the ladder gets pulled up.
Champions League tier waffle, that'll gently tickle your cerebellum.

Welcome back fellow nutters, "I've got a good Brain Man!"

In this packed episode of the show, we explore a wide range of topics — from the philosophical to the absurd. We discuss the importance of boredom, rethinking substance abuse through the lens of public health (with a nod to Portugal’s progressive approach), and question the ethics of profiting from healthcare.

We also take a fresh jab at Swedish bureaucracy, examine troubling content from a Chinese crocodile farm making the rounds on YouTube, and reflect on the curious global rise of K-pop through Eddie’s ever-growing bemusement.

Plus: uncanny cultural similarities between Italians and the Irish, small-town funeral customs, more stories from the recent New Zealand–Australia tour, and an unexpected call-in from the one and only Donatello “Booboo Dolls” Boogenhagen, with some musical surprises thrown in for good measure.

This episode is the result of two weeks of independent effort — handcrafted, self-produced, and full of heart. No big teams. No shortcuts. No Jamie Rogan. Just raw graft and real conversation.
