  • International Solidarity and the Filipino Diaspora - Labour and Land
    Apr 18 2026
Filipino organizers in the Diaspora struggle for migrant justice, labor and land rights, opposing extra-judicial killings and colonialism. Together, we discuss what this work looks like and ask questions of how to move forward: What challenges does the Filipino diaspora face in times of global fascism? How do we create more opportunities to grow global solidarity? We talk about the situation of migrant laborers and labor-export policies, the extension of migrant support networks to other vulnerable citizens who haven’t migrated, and broader struggles over the land in settler- and neocolonial contexts. This episode was recorded in January 2026 at Aaiotanga Community Space in Tāmaki Makaurau, Aotearoa.

  • Streik bei Ford 1973 und Internationale Solidarität
    Jan 30 2026
• An Introduction to Struggles Against Colonialism in Aotearoa/ New Zealand
    Dec 13 2025
This episode functions more as an introduction to the settler colonial context of Aotearoa/New Zealand for a German audience. Nonetheless everybody can learn from this episode, regardless of location or how familiar you are with the context. We’re talking about the settler colonial structure of Aotearoa/ New Zealand, racism and the myth of good race relations, incarceration, policing and police violence, migrant struggles. They teach us how Māori sovereignty threatens colonial structures all around the globe and how not only colonial governments but also the global far-right responds to suppress this.
