In this episode of Healed, Hood & Holy, I’m sharing something deeply personal.

Last week, I didn’t release an episode because my little sister passed away. She was only twenty-five.

I talk about why I still went on my first cruise, because she told me to go and take pictures, and what it felt like to come home and sit with the quiet. I open up about getting back to work, driving Uber, paying bills, and wrestling with the reality that the world doesn’t pause for grief.

This episode is also about why I’m so passionate about financial freedom, not for luxury, not for status, but for safety. For cushions. For peace. For the ability to grieve without panic.

I share my heart for women, especially women of color, and my vision to build a circle of women learning financial literacy, building wealth, healing, and growing together in real time.
