There are two certainties that I wanted to discuss on this week's episode
One: Our planet will suffer another cometary fly-by and fragmentation that will send asteroids racing towards our planet at speeds in excess of 17,000 miles per second in the near future.
Two: It's Thanksgiving and time for turkey, family and being thankful for all things.
After diving into the book Cometary Encounters by Pierre Lescaudron we'll discuss Daylight Saving Time and why it exists. We'll discuss why the gargantuan Woolly Mammoths flash froze to death and extinction and spend a little vacation time in the Younger Dryas period.
