About this listen

The Hoff Foundation has dedicated the last two decades to serving marginalized women, providing vital support on their journey to recovery and self-empowerment. In this inspiring podcast, women who have traversed the path of addiction recovery share their authentic and uplifting stories of transformation. At Esther’s Place, our primary focus is to establish meaningful connections with each homeless woman, guiding them towards crucial resources and services as they navigate the road to self-sufficiency. We strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where women and their children facing challenging circumstances can find refuge, community, and the essentials for daily living including food, gas cards, showers, access to computers, phones, and clothing. New Creation Community Housing comprises two state-certified recovery homes in Snohomish County, offering comprehensive wrap-around support services to 20 women seeking to rebuild their lives after incarceration, rehabilitation, abusive situations, or homelessness. Our foundation rests on life skills classes, recovery groups, counseling, bible study options, and mentorship, providing a solid framework for our support services. Queen It’s a New Day, affectionately known as “Queen” by program participants, offers a regal experience to women in recovery. Each woman receives a transformative makeover, including haircuts, manicures, makeup, and professional clothing. Moreover, they have the invaluable opportunity to connect with former Queens who share their stories, igniting hope in those who need it most. New Creation Church extends faith-based support within a close-knit community setting, catering to the holistic needs of individuals. Through this podcast, we share the poignant journeys of women who embraced change and embarked on a path of renewal. From the depths of addiction to the realization of dreams, these stories embody the resilience, hope, and tangible possibility of recovery. Join us on this transformative journey—you can too! Inspired by the balance of grace and accountability, Judy shares the beautiful stories of individuals who have walked through the doors of her organizations. Beyond the services these programs provide, the underlying core is teaching people about their worth, love, and acceptance in God’s eyes. New Creation Church especially stands out with its family-like atmosphere, welcoming diversity and differences, creating an environment where everyone belongs, irrespective of their cultural background or past.

Journey with us as we explore the church's fundamentals centered around servanthood leadership. Hear about the vibrant community activities that include weekly potluck dinners, worship sessions, and learning the Word of God from different perspectives. Built on the foundation of love, the church focuses on 'building people' over expanding its infrastructures, embodying the principles of Isaiah 61 by healing the brokenhearted and setting the captives free.

Lastly, we delve into Judy's future, a vision predicated on teaching, writing, and preaching. She affirms her call to a healing ministry and the vibrant prospect of the next 10 years being her most fruitful in service. She passionately talks about her recently authored book "Healing the Hole in your Heart" and her aspirations to empower pastor women through her women’s group, Women of Cloth.
