"Hygge" (pronounced "Hyoo-Guh") is a concept derived from Danish culture dating back generations. It is comprised of several major tenets including hospitality, atmosphere, well-being, and comfort (just to name a few). Independently, Hygge is not a "religious" or "Biblical" concept, but it prompts the question: can Hygge be implemented in a Biblical way? Can a concept like Hygge be set apart, or "made Holy." Author and speaker Jamie Erickson would argue, YES! In this limited series podcast, Jamie and a guest will walk through 7 of the core tenets of Hygge: what they are, how listeners can practically implement them in their homes, and most importantly, how each concept can inform the Christian life.

In this episode, Jamie is joined by Judy Dunagen and Melissa Zaldivar as they ask the question: what is Hygge? And is there a place for Hygge in the Christian home?
