How accountability can change everything?
My Accountability Wall or Your Accountability Mirror
How to build a self accountability wall/mirror?
- Sticky Notes
- Marker/Pen
- Space on your bathroom mirror or a wall you will see everyday.
- Goals or things you want to accomplish that support your 1 discipline
Examples of what to put on your accountability wall:
- 1 day of writing ✍️ in a journal
- 3 days of writing ✍️ in a journal
- 5/10/30 days of writing ✍️ in a journal
- 5 days no smoking
- 5 days no drinking alcohol 🥃
- 15 days no coke/dr.pepper/pepsi
- 15 days read my Bible
- 5 days SOAP (Scripture/Observation/Application/Prayer)
- 10 days of meditating on Gods word
- 10 days of mental toughness (cold showers)
Every goal you set and reach will build confidence for the next goal and so on…you will need confidence to help make the habit sustainable.
Why do you need accountability?
Because it will connect to your 1 discipline and they will form a bond that can’t be easily broken.
Accountability is the difference is success and failure. If you struggle with self accountability no one will be able to hold you accountable, remember that.
