  • Ep. 48 - Remakes, Robots and Ridiculous Prophecies
    Mar 14 2024
Please consider donating to us at https://patreon.com/hunterwick and add your voice to those who want more fun AND thoughtful content like this on the Internet. Join Bill and Chad as they take a stroll through the dumpster fire of remakes and how Hollywood needs to just stop it. Next, they take a look at the robots we were promised and still haven't received. Lastly, they take a hard look at a ridiculous prophecy that isn't really a prophecy. Imagine: "Behold a pale horse..." and then some idiot says, oh, my god the Lone Ranger beheld a pale horse named Silver! Eeeeerie." Dumb.

  • Ep. 47 - Everything you wanted to know about the Friday the 13th movies but were AFRAID!
    Mar 4 2024
Everything you wanted to know about the Friday the 13th movies but were AFRAID! Please consider donating at our Patreon page and add your voice to those who want more funny and interesting content like this on PodBean - https://patreon.com/HunterWick Settle into a seat next to Bill, grab your popcorn (don't cut a hole in the bottom of the bucket because Bill won't fall for that twice!) and get ready for Chad's terrifying campfire tale of the Friday the 13th 12-movie story arc! Can you believe there's been 12 Friday the 13th movies in this slasher franchise out to scare the Jason Voorhees out of you? Well, there has and they are crap! Or mostly crap. If you're a die-hard fan of the franchise, we're sorry to hurt your feelings but too bad - just like this franchise - it's toooo baaad. Chad took a machete for the team and suffered through nine of them. Find out which three weren't that painful. Which ones made his blood boil, which one left him cold and which one was like a puck in the face! Find out why this franchise is a time capsule for a female body part - and which one? How many degrees of Kevin Bacon is Jason Voorhees? Is Jason afraid of the water? Why is Michael Myers so much better and why didn't they call Jason X: "Spacin' Jason X"? So, take a break from all of that irresponsible sex, make sure all of your campers aren't drowning in Crystal Lake and pull on your fisherman's sweater because you'll no longer be required to watch all of these movies in order to get your hunting season machete license. Bill insisted this not be referred to as comprehensive history but still Chad did all the viewing for you, your fraidy cats, and almost answers all of these questions. P.S. Can you believe Chad's Aunt Monique didn't know Jason's last name? She asked him and when he told her she was in disbelief, asking where they had said this subtle off-handed script note. Sheesh.
