    Meet Sheryl Proulx, Executive Director of Adoption Options, Alberta's Leading Licensed Adoption Agency where professionally trained staff offer comprehensive and caring services working with expectant parents who are considering placing their children for adoption and with prospective adoptive parents who are residents of Alberta. Sheryl is also an ambassador for Gems for Gems, a non-profit focused on ending the cycle of domestic abuse through the economic recovery and empowerment of survivors. In this episode, Sheryl and I discuss her lived experience as a birth mother and how her personal journey inspired her career path and advocacy work. We also highlight Hope's Cradle, a Gems for Gems program that offers safe infant surrender sites for women in need.
