    Spam emails are ridiculous scams, yet for a moment, they can make you feel important—like a lottery winner or a prince’s chosen heir. But that illusion quickly fades, and spam just becomes annoying. Opt-ins exist to prevent unwanted messages, yet spammers ignore the rules, using stolen or guessed data to flood inboxes anyway. Even worse, while email spam can be blocked, junk mail is unavoidable—USPS is legally required to deliver it, whether you want it or not. I don’t get it!
