    With the current political state of the U.S. the prevalence of immigrants is extremely large, more specifically questions surrounding their involvement and role within the nation have been proposed. Well, I interviewed the esteemed Dr. Patricia Campos-Medina to gain further insight of this topic. Through our conversation we discussed her story: how she went from immigrating to the U.S.from El Salvador in her teen years, to being the first Hispanic woman to run for U.S. Senate in the state of New Jersey, amongst other astounding accomplishments.
