About this listen

The Future Generations Podcast is a space for Indigenous reconnection, reflection, and healing.

Each episode centers conversations about identity, memory, and belonging — exploring what it means to reconnect with culture, history, and self in a world shaped by displacement, silence, and interruption. These are not debates or performances, but grounded discussions rooted in lived experience, intergenerational knowledge, and care for what comes next.

The episodes in this series were recorded between 2022 and 2024, capturing reflections, conversations, and moments of learning as they unfolded in real time. While recorded in the past, the themes remain present: questions of identity, the weight of history, the process of returning to culture, and the responsibility carried toward future generations.

Healing here is understood not as a destination, but as an ongoing practice shaped by honesty, listening, and community. Episodes move at a human pace and are meant to be sat with, revisited, and shared across generations.

  • After the Bell: Teachers, Trauma, and the Fight for Safe Schools
    Jan 8 2026

Hosts Pablo and KP launch their new podcast with a frank conversation about education, returning to school, and teacher burnout. They reflect on the Uvalde shooting, police accountability, and long-standing systemic issues in underfunded communities.

The episode also explores mental health care, cultural competency in treatment, online toxicity and its effects on young men, and the need for community-driven solutions to prevent violence.

Although this episode is about 3 years old the topic is still relevant today.
