  • Magnet is about everyday nursing excellence
    Oct 14 2025

IU Health Methodist/University hospitals have achieved five Magnet designations, which is a truly incredible accomplishment. This was not achieved by accident. It's a direct result of team members' commitment to nursing excellence, each and every day. To speak more about Magnet, dispel some common misconceptions, and share some examples of this everyday nursing excellence at our hospitals, I've invited two clinical nurses to join me for this video: Denise Kerley, a nurse on MICU, and Mitch Kasznia, a nurse on 5N.
