About this listen

Homecoming to Self: The Journey with Sylvia Morrison Where inner healing meets purpose, service, and soul-aligned leadership. Homecoming to Self: The Journey is a soulful, transformational podcast exploring what it means to return to the truth of who you are and live in alignment with your soul’s purpose. Hosted by Sylvia Morrison—transformational coach, retired educator, international speaker, and humanitarian—the show is a reflective space for seekers, leaders, healers, and changemakers navigating transition, growth, and reinvention. Drawing from more than three decades of experience in education, trauma-informed advocacy, leadership development, spiritual practice, and global humanitarian work, Sylvia weaves together storytelling, soulful teaching, and practical wisdom. Each episode invites you to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with your intuition, clarity, and calling—so you can design a life that feels meaningful, aligned, and deeply your own. This podcast is not about becoming someone new. It’s about remembering who you are—and coming home to yourself.Copyright 2026 Sylvia Morrison Self-Help Social Sciences Spirituality Success

  • Homecoming to Self: The Journey - It’s an Orientation Not a Destination
    Feb 20 2026

There comes a moment when life looks full on the outside, yet something inside is quietly calling you back. Homecoming to Self: The Journey is a slow, grounded space I created for those moments. It’s a place to pause, to listen beneath the noise, and to remember something you may have set down along the way. We don’t rush here, and we don’t try to fix what isn’t broken. This is an orientation, not a destination. A gentle beginning. An invitation to come home.

    Connect with Me:

I’m Sylvia Morrison: transformational coach, retired educator, bestselling author, international speaker, and humanitarian. My career spans over three decades of work in personal transformation, leadership development, trauma-informed practice, and global service.

I’m the founder of Links Across Borders, a nonprofit that builds libraries and provides educational resources to children in rural Ghana. I’ve supported hundreds of transformational, service learning journeys rooted in connection and care.

I'm a Jamaican born African and Canadian woman, shaped by many cultures and communities. I am a mother, grandmother, a guide who has spent decades walking alongside women through transitions, questions, and quiet awakenings. At the heart of my work is a simple knowing: we are nodt here to fix ourselves, but to remember who we are—and to live from that place with honesty, presence, and care.
