About this listen
You've created a machine that can transcend dimensions. The first of its kind and you can't wait to use it. Stepping inside tenuously, every breath catching in your lungs as you press the sequence code and prepare to travel where no one has before. Or so you think.
The machine rumbles, shaking you violently before transporting you in the blink of an eye to a loud but foreign realm. The door opens and you take your first step out. Startled by the creature in front of you. Transparent and ethereal. She greets you as if she's seen your kind before and leads you towards their station. You find yourself anxiously listening, following along. Your mind trying to take in the swirling blues and purples around you. The vast expanse of a soil you've never seen before. Gray but full of life. Strange plants and animals scitter by and wave as if they are sentient as well. It's unnerving to say the least.
You arrive and the station is as loud as expected and this creature wants to what? Decontaminate you? You go along with it, knowing your finds will be your greatest success and most thrilling stories. The creature has other plans..
