This audio won Best Hockey Play by Play at the Intercollegiate Broadcasters Association student awards for 2026. This was a part of a WSUM Sports broadcast of Men's hockey where the Wisconsin Badgers took on the Michigan Wolverines on January 24th, 2025.

Johnny is a part of several shows on WSUM including Toss the Mic and Rockin' in the Nighttime which are hosted at 7pm and 8pm on Mondays on WSUM 91.7 FM. He is also the Production Director and, in his role, has made many of the PSAs and Underwritings that air as a part of programming.

This also won first place for Best Aircheck at the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association student awards in 2026, an award he has won for the third straight year

This audio was a finalist for Best Morning Show at the Intercollegiate Broadcasters Association student awards for 2026. This was a part of the Percolator, hosted by Daniel Stein and Taylor Wilmot on Sundays from 10 am to 12 P.M on WSUM 91.7 FM
