Harinderpal Singh Rai, owner of Kashmere and Cecilia Zimmerman, co-owner of The Grotto, share a piece of their home through their restaurants. Kashmere is named after Harinderpal's home region in India, Kashmir, and serves authentic North Indian food. When Cecilia moved from Mexico to Saskatchewan she missed and hungered for a taste of home. Not knowing how to cook the meals that she craved, she travelled back to Mexico to learn how to cook home-style meals and brought them back to Saskatchewan and created The Grotto.
