Outside, the street is silent, the cars don't move, and a single figure stands motionless at the end of the block—a woman with Eleanor's eyes who whispers Luna's name without moving her lips. Luna follows her into a landscape drained of color, where the sky is a flat gray and the ground is made of old cassettes—thousands of them, crunching underfoot. The woman leads her to a house that looks like 47 Sycamore, but the red door is gone. Instead, there's a room with a single chair and a tape player, and the woman hands Luna a tape with no label. As Luna presses play, she hears her own voice—but older, wearier—telling her not to listen to the next tape. That she cannot uncount the countdown once she has heard it. That the after-breath isn't a monster—it is her.
