Luna steps through the mirror and finds herself in a version of the library she has never seen — one where every book is already written, and every ending is final. The brass key, now an iron ring, pulls her toward a locked desk in the center of a circular room. Inside is a manuscript in her own handwriting, dated tomorrow. As she reads, the words rewrite themselves to match her movements. The other Luna appears in the reflection of the desk's glass top, but she is older, more tired, and has a scar across her throat. She speaks in a voice that is barely a whisper: 'You have to stop reading. You have to burn it.' But the iron ring won't let her let go. Luna realizes the library is feeding on the story it forces her to write, and the only way out is to finish a sentence she has never started. The episode ends with Luna's hand touching the page, and the ink bleeding upward into her skin.
