Chris Janecek was an enlisted armorer with 3rd ANGLICO while he completed college and worked towards becoming a Naval Aviator. Chris got his wish and was selected to fly the CH-46 Sea Knight. He flew the twin-rotor helicopter during the invasion and follow-on deployment to Iraq before being assigned to 3rd Battalion 1st Marines as a Forward Air Controller for his third deployment to Iraq.
