Every Season we'll pick a different literary Genre–but we'll always pick something that lets us sink our teeth into the darker and/or more demented side of things.
(We are horror people after all!)

So whether its Children's Lit (Peter Pan, anyone? 🧚🧜‍♀️☠️) or Russian Lit (Crime and Punishment 🔪🩸) we'll always find something to tickle the more demented side of your imagination's fancy.

It is only fitting, then, that in our inaugural season, we start with
⚡️💀 THE GOTHIC TRADITION! 💀⚡️

Join us as we read horror classics such as Bram Stoker's Dracula 🧛🏻‍♂️, or Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde 👨🏽‍⚕️🧟‍♂️.

But for our very first novel?

Every week Michelle and I will give you a couple of chapters to read. Then on Mondays we'll be posting our discussion.

🎉 Our first episode is April 13th!
And we'll start with chapters 1-3 ❤️

Whenever we start a new novel, we'll give you a historical background and context episode so you can learn more about what you're reading.

And then as we get into the novel, we'll do deep dives and discussions into a number of chapters and (hopefully) entice you to keep reading along to find out interesting tidbits or just our opinions on what you just read!

So if you have to read for class and want help learning about, understanding, or just getting interesting ideas for your own class discussion,

or whether you're just looking to expand your repetoir and want to bounce your ideas off a sounding board. . .

Or even if you're just another under-the-cover-with-a-flashlight reader like us who misses talking about books with other people,
