In this episode I have the honor of interviewing my dear friend and peer, Karen Rae, the owner of FAVE and the Being Brave tour. We explore how “I got it” can show up as control, over-functioning, and taking on others’ feelings, and how surrender, trust, and receiving can create deeper connections. Karen shares that during her divorce she realized she felt “invisible” in her own life, prompting tears, self-reflection, and a long, layered process of awareness, and taking responsibility for herself rather than carrying everyone else. They discuss letting people make their own choices, the exhaustion of doing it all alone, and rediscovering the vibrant, fearless self that can get buried.
