About this listen

Luna awakens in the circular library with ink still pulsing beneath her skin, the manuscript rewriting itself faster than she can look away. The scarred other Luna has vanished. The only door leads to a narrow corridor of reading desks, each one holding a book open to the same page: a description of Luna's own breath, heartbeat, and doubt. The ink in her veins tingles when she draws near, and she realizes the library is not just telling her story—it is reading her as she reads it. She finds a desk with her own name carved into the wood, and the book there is still blank, waiting for her to write the next word. But the pen is made of bone, and the inkwell is filled with what looks like the same black that now runs in her blood. She cannot leave until she writes something, and she cannot write without sealing her fate. The episode ends with Luna lifting the pen, the ink in her hand rising to meet it, and the silence of the room pressing in like a held breath.
