Monday. Last friday evenings gym session was the last until after my wife's operation. All day I hold my wife's hand to remind her that I am there for her. At lunchtime we go out for lunch. We go to a garden centre and have lunch in their newly refurbished posh restaruant and then home. Tuesday. The morning is just the same as yesterday. But I receive a phone call from mum saying that she is offered a date for her hip operation. She asks if she cannot get hold of my younger brother would I be able to take her home. And I said yes. Wednesday. We just hole hands all day. We say goodbye for four weeks to my wife's care providers. I Cuddle up to my wife before bed. Thursday. We have been told today is the day that my wife becomes an inpatient. I ring the ward at 9.15 in the morning and then wait. After 6 hours we are still waiting I ring again. Apparently the has been some sort of miscommunication and we head for hospital at 5. Friday. The day of the operation. I make my way to the hospital in the afternoon and get there late due to parking issue's. My wife has gone to theater when I get there and I wait. The operation is over after 4 and I join my wife in recovery. I head for home at midnight. Saturday. In the morning I have a meeting and then I am refused permission to visit my wife so I visit my Uncle instead. Sunday. It is the first Sunday without my wife and I do the Usual things. Watch a bit of television then go and do the weekly shop. And then eat a ready meal Sunday Roast.

Monday. Both of us are getting very apprehensive. Nerves are beginning to show but who can blame us. The morning is spent holding hands, no computer, or paperwork. Then lunch and then the normal gym session. Tuesday. Its back to work! but I am always thinking about my wife and not what's going on around me. I do my job as normal and then home. Wednesday. I have booked next week off on annual leave as mentally I do not want to do my job. All I keep thinking about is my wife. However I plod along as usual. Thursday. Getting stressed now. If I feel like this then what is my wife feeling like. Luckily all the buildings are clean and that's a surprise. I clean very quickly and then off to home. Friday. Just one week before the operation. I go to work with a cloud over my head. The buildings are clean and at the end of the day and week I hand in the keys and home. It is now the most stressful of times. Saturday. We did absolutly Nothing. We are both stressed and fearful of whats to come. My wife reminds me if the worst happens that she wants to be cremated and I stated that it won't probably come to that. We both hold hands for most of the day. Sunday. Although we are both stressed we did the normal things, the weekly shop and cook Sunday Roast.

Monday. Today is my wife's Preassessment for her forthcoming operation. We visit many areas to have height and weight taken, an ECG and then go through a list of her current drugs, after that we wait to have her blood taken. Then we head for home. And in the afternoon I have the usual gym session. Tuesday. Back to work! The buildings I clean are now very quiet but on lammas land the park is still full of very young children. Even though there were people the building remains clean. Its this week that I have arranged to have lunch with Ryan. However in his latest video he is quite clearly very iLL. Then I go back to the same pattern of being late home from work. Wednesday. Its just the same as yesterday so I take the chance to talk to the person who cuts the bowling green on both Lammas land and on Christs piece. Again I go home late. Thursday. Its the same thing as yesterday but on Jesus green there are more Chinese Visitors. However the day's cleaning is very little. But I manage to go home late again. Friday. My wife receives a letter from the hospital saying that she require's another Iron infusion and this is set for next Tuesday afternoon. I ask the boss if I can have a half day off and he lets me. At lunchtime I wait for Ryan but I know that this would be unlikely as he was pretty ILL. So I have my lunch and carry on with my day. I have another shock as I finish on time and I hand in the keys and head for home. In the evening I have a gym session and then head for home. Saturday. I stay at home all day and hold my wife's hand so that she knows that I am there for her. Sunday. Its the return of Sunday politics East on T.V. Then its off to Bar Hill to do the weekly shop and then home. And then I email Ryan and responds saying that he was about to email me. I then help Cook Sunday Roast.

Monday. I am a little surprised because my PT booked in a gym session this afternoon. As its a bank holiday I was under the impression that he didn't want to work them. Tuesday. Its back to work and the number of tourists and families has dropped significantly. The buildings remain clean. Is the whole of Cambridge just gone on holiday ? Wednesday. Today is a slightly different day as the play area are full of children but the pool remains empty. All buildings remain clean all day. For the first time in a while I leave work on time. Thursday. Again as yesterday all buildings remain clean. I count my blessings. Friday. Today is a repeat of yesterday even the buildings remain clean. I hand in the keys at lion yard and go home on time. Then in the evening I have a gym session. Saturday. Today is quiet with nothing specific happening. In the evening we have our fish and chips and then my wife watch's Judge Judy and I watch Youtube. Sunday. We do the usual read the Sunday papers and then I go to Bar Hill and do the weekly shop and then home. In the evening I help with cooking Sunday Roast.

Monday. Mondays are now getting back to normal as I start to relax and try and get back on track. All the usual things happen in the day. Tuesday. Back to work and its still warm during the day. Everything is still busy due to the school holidays and the tourist season. But the paddling pool at lammas land is now out of action. Wednesday. Today is getting even warmer. All the buildings remain fairly clean so its an easy time of things although still hard work. I take a breather at Jesus green and as I do another video drops from Cambridge delivers. After a busy day I get home and my wife does not want me to go to a meeting due to her Cancer so I ask if its possible to do zoom instead. Then I cook my second lot of works food. Thursday. Today is just a carbon copy of yesterday. Both me and Ryan have agreed to have lunch together so I private mail him my work schedule. Otherwise its just another routine day. Friday. Is a half day as we have to meet the surgeon who will remove my wife's tumour. He gives us two options. 1) Remove it but there are risks in that something else may happen while having the operation. Or 2) keep the tumour in place but this will be a death sentence. My wife opts for 1. I cancel the evenings gym session as I am no mood to go to the gym. Saturday. The whole day is spent relaxing and holding hands and then get the usual fish and chips. Then in the evening my wife watches Bloody Judge Judy and I watch YouTube. Sunday. Its the usual Sunday. Read the Sunday Paper and then go to Bar Hill to do the weekly shop. Then Home. Then help Cook Sunday Roast.

Monday. Today I cancel my gym session and the PT agrees this is not the time for gym. I tell my boss and says that he will allow Compassionate time off to be with my wife and I inform the family the bad news. Tuesday. I go into work and my boss is surprised. I inform him that I will use the Compassionate time off for appointments and he agrees to allow me to do this. The tourists are now easing off and its getting quieter. And as usual I am late home. Wednesday. Its just the same today as yesterday. However I get a text informing my wife that a scan has been arranged for tomorrow. I inform my boss and he allows me to have the day off. Thursday. Its weird as this is the first day off in the working week for years. The scan is in Sawston and its the first time I have been there. At 1.35 we arrive and we go to a separate building where the scanner is. My wife is injected with a dye and shortly after has her scan. After that we go home. Friday. I return to work for just the one day. Nothing has changed and neither do I go home any earlier. In the evening is a gym session. Saturday. The whole day is quiet as I want to spend it with my wife. In the evening we have our usual fish and chips and she watch's bloody judge judy and I catch up with Cambridge delivers. Sunday. Is the usual read the Sunday papers and do the weekly shop in Bar Hill and then home. In the evening I help Cook Sunday Roast.

Monday. Its a mad rush today as my wife had a Preassessment last Saturday for her second Colonoscopy this coming Saturday. So this morning I had to go and get some more Laxative. Then in the afternoon is the usual gym session. After which I went home via the supermarket. Tuesday.Its back to work. I do the usual rounds. I go home late as usual lots of pressure on at the moment! Wednesday. Today is the same as yesterday. It is a carbon copy and also go home late. Thursday. The same as the previous two days. There is no one mowing the bowling green on Christs Pieces. Friday. Work is the same and its getting warmer again. I leave off home late as usual and get home. My wife in the evening starts to take the laxative for tomorrows Colonoscopy. Saturday. Early in the morning my wife takes the second laxative. At 1.30 we are in Endoscopy for my wife's second procedure. While my wife is being examined I go to the main Concourse and drink a lemonade and watch more of Cambridge delivers. 90 mins pass and I head for a place to wait a phone call and it comes 30 mins after I arrive. I go to get my wife. The nurse that brings her out says that we must stay in the Dept. It is not good news as the examination has found a malignant tumor. Shock doesn't describe it. Sunday. Still stunned by the news I rush to Bar Hill to do the weekly shop and then home. We have a ready meal Sunday Roast.

Monday. Today is just the usual Monday routine of being on my Laptop in the morning and then in the afternoon of to the gym. And then home via the supermarket. Tuesday. Its back to work and its my first time doing Lamas land during the school holidays. The pool is busy but the building I clean remains clean. Then I set off for Jesus green and that is scummy but it is the tourist season. I am late home as usual. In the evening we sit and relax. My wife is obsessed with Judge Judy so I watch YouTube. I watch a young man doing food delivery's in London and the account is called @LondonHustle. Very interesting. Wednesday. Another very hot and Humid day. There are a lot of Children around the paddling pool at lamas land. I then make my way to Jesus green which is also busy. I survive the day and yes you have guessed it I go Home late! Thursday. Again another warm and humid day. It is a carbon Copy of yesterday. I go home late. While I am relaxing and my wife watch's Judge judy. I watch YouTube and an account is being offered to me and I can't believe it he is delivering food in my home city of Cambridge! The account name is very appropriate @CambridgeDelivers. Friday. Its the same as the last two day. I return the keys at lion yard at the end of the working week and head for home. And then catch up on the video's of Cambridge delivers. I make a comment and then turn in for the night. Saturday. Its the usual gym session in the morning and then relax in the afternoon. I see I have been notified that Cambridge delivers has replied. Crikey the first time that has happened. Sunday. Sunday is the usual. Read the Sunday papers and then to Bar Hill and then home. In the evening I help Cook Sunday Roast.
