About this listen
Perfectionism has deep roots in our psychology. It is our need for approval to fix our damaged sense of self worth that characterises the traits of perfectionism. In this episode, I look into research by University of York St John that determined that perfectionism is increasing over time. In my brief analysis, I break down two of the main models of perfection and try to remedy this with my own observations and conclusions. In this process, I created Imperfectionism. The habit of acknowledging, owning and challenging our imperfections. Enjoy!
