• Nerding Out on Ontario Politics | InCamera ft. John Michael Mcgrath
    Nov 20 2025

John Michael McGrath, or JMM as he is better know as, is a writer, journalist and podcaster best known for his work at TVO. Im sure many listening are used to JMM being partnering the seasoned Steve Pakin on their #onpoli Podcast. I will do my best not to disappoint. JMM has covered a flavour of Ontario Politics for most of his career, starting at Queen’s Park Briefing and Novae Res Urbis (a nerdy municipal planning newspaper) before joining TVO. JMM has been following Doug Ford and his late brother Rob Ford since their time at Toronto City Hall. JMM has a unique sense of where Ontario and its voters are and then where its governments may be going.

  • All Policy is Heath Policy | InCamera ft. Dr. Adil Shamji
    Nov 5 2025

Dr. Adil Shamji is an Emergency Room Doctor and Member of Provincial Parliament for Don Valley East. Adil became a doctor to help people and make an impact, and those same values drew him to public service. After seeing the state of healthcare in northern, rural, and indigenous communities, Adil wanted work on the core problems of our healthcare system at Queen’s Park.

In our conversation today we not only diagnose what is wrong with healthcare in Ontario, but also look at what is ailing the housing market. How do we make life more affordable for everyone in our province? I would be remiss if I also did not ask him about what he thinks about the Ontario Liberal Party Leadership and if he would be putting his name forward.

  • Good Policy Does Not Have a Party Colour | InCamera ft. Mike Schreiner
    Oct 22 2025

As Green Party of Ontario, Mike Schreiner does not have a big caucus, having only two Members of Provincial Parliament. But his strong, principled, forward thinking leadership has continuously pushed his party and our province forward.

In our conversation today, Mike shares how he got into politics, as well as why he chose the Green Party of Ontario. We also talk about how we can make Ontario better and that rarely comes with a party colour. Building a stronger Ontario economy, building homes our kids can afford, and a universal basic income are policies that have come from different policies that are adopted by parties of different stripes. We often just need a strong leader to put those bold ideas out there.

  • How we Keep Mississauga Safe | InCamera ft. Superintendent Josh Colley
    Sep 10 2025

This week, I am excited to bring on Josh Colley, the Peel Regional Police Superintendent for 11 Division. Josh is responsible for policing everything west of Hurontario in Mississauga, a huge responsibility to say the least.

In our conversation today, I talk with Josh about what that budget means for him and his team at 11 Division. Josh grew up here, still has family here, and remains focused on how to keep everyone here safe. Beyond boots on the ground, we talk about how you can help Peel Police by making your home safer as well as where Peel Police are going next.

  • Leading from the Opposition | InCamera ft. Tim Hudak
    Jun 18 2025

This week’s guest is Tim Hudak, the former leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party from 2009 to 2014 and now Partner at Council Public Affairs. Tim and I were on the opposite side of many battles while at Queen’s Park, and good ideas rarely come with a political colour attached.

In our conversation today, we explored Tim’s career starting with his family interest, to how he became one of the youngest members of the legislature, to his time as Leader of the Opposition. Throughout his time as PC Leader, he never got to enact his vision for Ontario, but now we are seeing many of the things that Tim advocated for, like a greater investment in the Skill Trades, be actioned by Conservative and Liberal governments alike.

  • How do Mayors Get Big Things Done? | InCamera ft. John Tory
    May 29 2025

Experience is something that we all look for in our elected leaders. We want to see that they have been through challenges, and come out better on the other side. This week’s guest is John Tory, a man who has experience across the private sector as well as at every level of government. Throughout his career, John has worn many hats, but best known for his time as Mayor of Toronto.

John is a lawyer, broadcaster, business leader, and if you remember is Black and Gold Raptors’ jacket, really into sports. Politically, he was principal secretary to Premier Bill Davis in the 80s, ran the federal party campaign in the 90s, and leader of the Ontario PCs from 2004 to 2009.

In our conversation today, I talked to John about the challenges he had as mayor and how big cities can get big things done. How we can work together with the Province and Federal Government of any stripe on how we can deliver for our communities.
