  • #251: My First 100k Ultramarathon: Exceeding My Wildest Dreams Through Pain & Presence
    Oct 1 2025

POP-UP EPISODE!! Have you ever failed at something only to discover that failure was exactly what you needed to succeed beyond what you thought possible?

After missing my qualifying time in my 50-mile race in April, I could have given up. Instead, I floated through summer while focusing on one specific weakness—running uphill—and found myself toeing the line at my first 100k ultramarathon.

What happened over those 62 miles and 10 loops taught me lessons that go far beyond running, lessons about pain, presence, and the power of staying exactly where you are even when everything hurts.

    In this episode, you'll hear:

    • The mindset shift that transforms pain from a permanent state to a temporary teacher
    • Why "staying here" in the present moment is the secret to pushing through the hardest parts of any challenge
    • How my "failure" at 50 miles became the exact preparation I needed for this success
    • The practice of being in the flow—neither rigid nor chaotic—that carried me through 62 miles
    • What happened when I asked my mom for the time and realized I was achieving something I never thought possible

This isn't just a race recap—it's a story about how our biggest setbacks prepare us for our wildest successes, and how presence, not perfection, is what carries us across every finish line in life. Whether you're a runner, a yoga teacher, or anyone pursuing a meaningful goal, these lessons will change how you approach challenge, pain, and possibility.

  • #250: From Perfection Mindset to Problem-Solving Mindset: How to Turn Every Challenge Into Your Next Breakthrough
    Jul 11 2025

Do you have big dreams for your wellness business, but find yourself hesitating before you take action? Thinking things like: What if this program doesn't fill? What if I try something new and it feels awkward? What if I put myself out there and it doesn't go as planned?

These "what if" scenarios keep you researching, planning, and perfecting instead of actually moving forward.

You're not lazy or uncommitted – you're just caught in the perfection mindset that says everything has to go right the first time, or it means you're not cut out for this. But what if there was a completely different way to think about challenges and mistakes?

    In this episode, you'll discover:

    • The two mindsets that determine whether challenges become roadblocks or rocket fuel for your growth
    • How the problem-solving mindset transforms every obstacle into an opportunity to level up
    • The exact process to shift from "Why is this happening to me?" to "How is this happening FOR me?"
    • Four powerful questions that instantly activate your problem-solving brain
    • Why your future self already has the answers you need (and how to access them)
    • How to recognize when you're stuck in perfectionist paralysis and what to do about it

Stop letting imperfect outcomes convince you that you're not cut out for bigger things. Your challenges aren't evidence that you should quit – they're invitations to grow stronger, smarter, and discover your innate capability. When you learn to see every problem as solvable and every setback as setup for your comeback, you'll stop avoiding opportunities and start embracing them. Your breakthrough is waiting on the other side of that problem you're trying to avoid. Let's figure this out together! Hit play, and let's get started!
