About this listen

I've always been the odd one out, rarely on planet earth, and marching to the imaginary beat in my head. By taking a risk and moving to South Korea on my own, I've pushed my alien status for real. As a tired and wired twenty-something creative, life as an alien can get pretty interesting (to say the least). From the outside looking in, I realized all of us are aliens in our own way. Join me and my friends in my planet where we discuss our earthly journey-- from the troubles and thoughts that plague us daily to the sweet pockets of happiness and our little fixations in between. This is the space for all your oddities, curiosities, and sensibilities. Let's go inside my planet!

  • Geek Week: Teen Titans
    Nov 11 2023
This week we're looking at a childhood fave that shaped my brain more than it should probably have: Teen Titans (2003)! My friend Melo and I discuss what we loved about the show, what we think of it now, and understanding who we are as adults with our childhood faves in mind. Oh, did I mention this was my gateway to fanfiction? 👀

BONUS DRINKING GAME: take 3 shots every time we mention hotdogs and sausages.

  • My House is Haunted (Yes, I'm Sure)
    Oct 27 2023

It's Halloween time, freaks. In this episode, we explore the haunted stories of my home country, my actual house, and sacrificing chickens in my childhood. Apparently, other people were more affected by the ghosts in my house than my actual family. On a serious note, I also briefly mention the origins of a creature present in Philippine stories and myths. Below is a link to an article that goes in-depth about this myth.
