    Shannon Ross acquired his bachelor's degree during his 17 years in the Wisconsin prison system. During his time he ran programs (particularly a mental health program for two years), wrote often and had a number of written works published and eventually created a nonprofit in 2014 called The Community (thecommunitynow.us). The Community's mission is to foster the full potential of people with criminal records through Pre-entry and showcasing their successes, humanity and agency through Correcting the Narrative. Shannon completed a Masters of Sustainable Peacebuilding program at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in Dec 2022. He is also the host of the All In All Out podcast, co-owner of Paradigm Shyft: Reentry Strategies and Consulting, a national ambassador for Represent Justice, a fellow for Marquette University's Education Preparedness Program, and a founding member of the University of Reentry.
