Each episode is presented in the guise of a contemporary, highly produced audio documentary, but the stories are all inspired by classic works of dark fiction. Episodes in this first season are drawn from such sources as the weird tales of H.P. Lovecraft, the ghost stories of M.R. James, and the gothic horror of Robert W. Chambers.
