Many many years ago I ran into my homegirl at Pride festival in Detroit and she was wearing a t-shirt with these words. It was totally ok.

Jen is probably one of the most open, honest and emotionally aware people I have known in life. She's also a fellow empath.

In this episode she shares her journey in life and love so far and the interesting turns it has taken. I set out to tell a very unique same-sex love story and in trying to do so, ended up receiving some of the most relatable and common-place coming-of-age tales that could easily have been written into your favorite teen movie - Like Juno. Yeah, that movie with the girl and the boy and the teen pregnancy.

I really love that movie...and Jen. I hope you will enjoy sharing in her experiences as much as I did.
