What if praying for healing isn’t reserved for “the really spiritual” people, but is part of normal Christian life? We lean into that question and finish our healing series with Seantell Coffey, getting as practical and biblical as possible about how believers can pray for the sick with faith, love, and calm confidence.

We walk through the scriptural foundation for healing prayer and spiritual authority, including Matthew 10, Luke 10, Mark 16, and John 20. Then we bring it down to street level: how we actually pray in the moment, why praying Scripture matters, and what it can look like to speak healing in Jesus’ name. Kim also shares a powerful reminder that sometimes the simplest prayer is the strongest one, when the Holy Spirit leads, and the name of Jesus is enough.

From there, we talk about what many people skip: compassion, good questions, and community. We explore the spiritual and practical roots of illness, the payoff that illness can bring, and the importance of asking, “Do you want to get well?” We also make a case for group prayer and being connected to a faith-filled church community that believes the Bible’s promises, even when that environment feels awkward at first.

We close with keys for the long road: removing distractions, persevering with faith, guarding your peace, renewing your mind with Philippians 4, and practicing gratitude when life feels heavy. If you’re praying for your own healing or standing with someone you love, this conversation is built to strengthen your faith and steady your heart. Fear has a way of getting loud when your body is hurting, and your prayers feel unanswered. We sit down with Seantell Coffey to talk about biblical faith and healing in a way that protects the tender places: no blaming the sick, no shrugging with “God will do what He’ll do,” and no pretending symptoms aren’t real. We keep coming back to a simple, strong truth: faith is confidence in Jesus, and true faith stays alive with expectation of good.

We walk through what Scripture shows about faith in healing, from Jesus' commendation of faith to the surprising moments when friends or intercessors carry someone else’s breakthrough. Chantel shares a fresh take on “faith as a mustard seed” as disruptive, ground-taking faith that pushes out doubt. We also unpack Abraham’s faith in Romans 4, the centurion’s authority-centered trust in Matthew 8, and why your words matter when you’re praying for physical healing, mental health, and emotional restoration.

Then we get practical: how to build a faith-filled circle of prayer, why testimonies multiply courage, how to be honest about symptoms while speaking the Word of God, and what the laying on of hands means in the Bible. We also talk about worship in hard seasons, supporting a loved one in crisis, and resisting fear when symptom research and stress start spiraling.

If you need prayer, reach out, and if you know someone who’s fighting for hope, share this with them. Subscribe, leave a review on Apple Podcasts, and send this episode to one person who needs healing encouragement today.

Sickness is scary enough without spiritual confusion layered on top of it. So we sit down with Seantell Coffey to get brutally clear about what the Bible actually says about healing and what it does not say. We talk about why calling a diagnosis a “blessing” can quietly distort your view of God, how Scripture frames sickness as something God redeems rather than something He gives, and why the heart of Jesus is repeatedly moved by compassion to heal.

We also tackle one of the most debated passages in Christian healing teaching: Paul’s thorn in the flesh. Seantell walks through the language of 2 Corinthians 12 and why “messenger of Satan” matters, then gives practical encouragement for anyone stuck in a long healing journey: if you haven’t heard a clear no from the Lord, keep praying. From there, we get real about how faith grows, why testimonies build expectation, and why it’s wise to guard your circle when you’re fighting for healing.

Then we zoom out to the deeper layers: seeking God while navigating doctors and medication, letting peace lead decisions, and asking the Lord for prayer warriors who won’t quit. Seantell shares major “keys” that can block healing, including ungodly fear of God, trouble receiving love, unforgiveness, and open doors to darkness.

Subscribe for more faith-filled conversations, share this with someone who needs hope, and leave a review on Apple Podcasts. What part of your healing journey needs the most prayer right now?
