Ivy Ford is one of the most compelling voices in Chicago blues today and she’s earned every bit of it the hard way.Born in Waukegan, IL and raised on the South Side of the blues scene, Ivy has been performing live since age 13. She plays piano, guitar, alto saxophone, bass, and more almost entirely self-taught. She opened for Buddy Guy at his own club. She made the finals at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis competing against hundreds of acts from around the world. She played Chicago Blues Fest.
