Beginning Blessing

Numbers 6:24-26

¶

The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;

the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Psalm 84:12

O LORD of hosts,

blessed is the one who trusts in you!

And in HIS Good News Gospel

JESUS Reminds us

Matthew 11:6

And blessed is the one who is not offended by HIm.

Genesis 1:28-30

And God blessed them.

And God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply

and fill the earth and subdue it,

and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens

and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

And God said,

“Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth,

and every tree with seed in its fruit.

You shall have them for food.

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth,

everything that has the breath of life,

I have given every green plant for food.”

And it was so.

1Chronicles 29:11-12

Yours, O Lord,

is the greatness and the power

and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours.

Yours is the kingdom, O Lord,

and you are exalted as head above all.

Both riches and honor come from you,

and you rule over all.

In your hand are power and might,

and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.

Psalm. 89:11

The heavens are yours;

the earth also is yours;

the world and all that is in it,

you have founded them.

Genesis 12:2-3

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse,

and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Galatians. 3:16

Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring.

It does not say,

“And to offsprings,”

referring to many,

but referring to one,

“And to your offspring,”

who is Christ.

Acts 3:25-26

You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham,

‘And in your offspring

shall all the families of the earth be blessed.’

God,

having raised up his servant,

sent him to you first,

to bless you

by turning every one of you from your wickedness.”

Galatians 3:29

And if you are Christ’s,

then you are Abraham’s offspring,

heirs according to promise.
