About this listen
It’s quite painful to say that the 2025 Japanese Grand Prix turned out to be a sedate affair with negligible racing action. Apart from the grass fires in Friday practice, the top moment was none other than Max Verstappen stunning everyone by winning in that RB21—his first victory of 2025—and was in another league compared to the McLarens.
That said, McLaren missed their chance by not giving Oscar Piastri a chance to chase the race lead. This episode reviews how Verstappen has completely figured out Lando Norris while maximizing his results, and on the other hand, McLaren are not opening up their minds to bet on Piastri’s ability to beat the Dutch Lion. But yes, not many sub-plots to talk about from this Suzuka snoozefest.
