In each episode, the three UK based hosts - all nurtured by Jewish mothers, and now Jewish mothers themselves - chew over subjects through the prism of their experiences. The aim of each podcast is to leave you feeling, at the very least, amused and, at best, inspired by the uniquely warm, sometimes bonkers, but always well intended world of the Jewish mother. Who knows? You may even import some of her wisdom and ways into your world - regardless of your age, religion, gender or domestic situation. As the phrase goes, 'you don’t have to be Jewish…'

    The butt of age old jokes (Q: How many Jewish mothers does it take to change a light bulb? A: Forget it, I'll just sit in the dark). But what is it about the innate character of the Jewish mother? Are the clichés and jokes deserved - from the paranoia and over feeding to the unstoppable desire to mother (and smother) in order to make the world a happier place? As three women who have been nurtured by Jewish mothers (and are now Jewish mothers ourselves) we celebrate the good bits - and cringe a little at the other bits.
